COURSE OVERVIEW:
Welcome to the Sports Programming course.
Studies and research around sports nutrition are currently being revised and updated to keep pace with the growing changes in the field, so as nutrition students it’s important to keep ahead of the latest sports nutrition information and dietary practices.
In this course you will be provided an introduction to sports nutrition and gain a thorough explanation of energy balance, macronutrients, micronutrients, nutrient timing and fluid intake and their relation to athlete performance. This will serve you as fundamental learning to coach the unique nutrition requirements of endurance, strength and power, and contest physique athletes.
